Editorial Approach

We review the daily and unlimited answer pool for recognizable, general-audience words and try to avoid extremely obscure terms, offensive language, and specialist jargon. The accepted-guess list is broader so that reasonable guesses are less likely to be rejected. Word choices are still subjective, so we welcome corrections when an answer or accepted guess feels wrong.
