The static file has 84 entries, and only 28 keep six distinct letters while 56 repeat at least one — two-thirds of the file, the highest repeat share of any starting list published here. Every record carries at least two A/E/I/O/U vowels: 57 have two, 26 have three, and rookie is the lone four-vowel entry.

Why RE- is a repeat trap
The RE- prefix loves a second E: redeem, reduce, relate, remote, rescue, revere-style patterns push 38 of the 51 RE records into repeat territory. Turning on “No repeated letters” while RE is still live cuts the family from 51 to 13 — sometimes that is exactly right, but do it because the tiles say so, not by default.
Duplicate feedback also has clear landmarks here. The doubled-letter ladders run in threes: BB in rabbit, ribbon, rubble and GG in ragged, rigged, rugged — the -AGGED/-IGGED/-UGGED ladder swaps only its vowel. LL (really, rolled), EE (redeem, reeled), and OO (roofed, rookie) add two each.
